China International Lake Management and Technology & Equipment Exhibition will be held concurrently with 13th World Lake Conference this November. The exhibition showcases China's achievements in lake management and involves exhibits from NGOs worldwide and enterprises from Japan, Europe and North America.
Final Candidate of the Ibaraki Kasumigaura Prize:
Candidate 1: Barak O Owuor (Kenya) --- "Towards Sustainable Development of Sacred Sites on the Landscapes of the Lake Victoria Basin (LVB) of East Africa"
Candidate 2: Jitendra Pandey (India) --- "The Influence of Atmospheric Deposition of Pollutant Elements on Cross - Domain Causal Relationships at Three Tropical Freshwater Lakes of India"
Candidate 3: Duwala and 3 other authors (China) --- "Compariwon of the ecological environment of the downstream of Hihe before and after water division based on the remote sense monitoring"
Candidate 4: William Okello (Uganda) --- "Seasonal development of cyanobacteria and microcystin production in Ugandan freshwater lakes"
Candidate 5: Shakil Ahmad Romshoo (India) --- "Geospatial modeling for Assessing the Nutrient load of a Hymalayan Lake"
Three conditions to be the final winner:
To register and pay registration fees and go to Wuhan (including preparation for travel obtaining visa) by themself.
To attend the conference and present their paper in a session
To attend the prize ceremony and receive prize certificates
Prize money will be paid after the prize ceremony to be held on November 2, 1830-2030hr.
Ibaraki Kasumigaura Prize
The prestigious Ibaraki Kasumigaura Prize will be awarded to 5 participants from developing countries to support their participation in the 13th World Lake Conference. Winners of the Kasumigaura Prize will obtain sponsorship to participate in the conference.

Results of First Screening
