The China lakes fair will be held during 13th WLC   2008/10

China boasts rich lakes resources containing over 24800 natural lakes. Unfortunately, among them many have been damaged seriously. For instance, Poyang Lake has shrunk obviously, and Tai Lake, Dian Lake and Chao Lake have seriously eutrophication problems. Aiming at the status quo, Chinese government put forward the strategic measures “rest the unbearable rivers, lakes and seas” and carried our a major technological projects “control and management of water pollution” with billions of RMB investment. The goal of the project was to control the environmental pollutions of water systems including lakes and boost the control processes of some large-scale  lakes like Tai lake, Dian Lakes and Chao Lake as well as middle , small-scale lakes.

Decision makes form Ministry of Environmental Protection as well as 11 ministries and committees, Academicians in lake field from Chinese Academy of Science and Chinese Academy of Engineering, Management and technological experts form Environmental Protection Bureau, Water Recourses Bureau and relevant lake management committees of many provinces, will participate the 13th World Lake Conference.

There will be tens of seminars, new product shows, fair, press releases for large-scale domestic lake treatment projects. 
The fair “China lakes”will be the first and largest business platform for lake treatment projects in China. The fair covers pollution control for lakes self and surroundings. Such as Water , sewage interception, eutrophication technologies, bottom sludge dredging,algae control, eco-wetland, slope bank management, aquatic plant restoration, surveying, control and test technologies, city sight water system. Education etc.
